Real-Time control under Windows

Typical applications

  • Positioning of axes
  • Interpolating continuous control (up to 8 axes)
  • Linear, circular, helix, splines
  • CNC-control that supports ISO programming
  • Proboard, Engraving, mold making, milling of printed circuit board prototypes
  • Robots, handling

The EdiTasc software is, due to its flexible architecture, used for the control of milling machines, machine tools and robots.

EdiTasc supports a variety of motor types and interface cards. About 16 driver types are available, that are fully compatible with one another. That means an EdiTasc controlled system with stepper motors can be redesigned as a system with servo motors with the same user-interface, and can utilize the same control programs.

All common I/O-interface cards can be used. PLC-like functions for watching and monitoring can be defined freely in a subprogram (macro). EdiTasc Details

Modules are available for continuous motion control, HPGL and Isel interpreter, cutter radius compensation, spline curves, Z-Level compensation, Jogwheel, and PROBOARD for printed circuit boards.

Jogwheel: For professional CNC -applications the Jogwheel is essential. Technical details

NC-Toolkit: Flexible Design of User Interfaces

NC-Toolkit is a development system for programming of individual user interfaces. Applications can be written in all common programming languages that access the attached functions via the common DLL-interface.

NC-Programs stored as regular text files in MTASC, ISO or HPGL format can be called directly, without translation - just as in EdiTasc. Simple Hello-examples in Visual C++ and Visual Basic serve as an introduction to the interface. The Visual Basic source-code for EdiTasc can also be purchased.

This stand-alone application allows the conversion of CAD files (.dxf) so that they can be used for CNC machining with EdiTasc.
